Also, a good mouse is only half the battle, you need a good mouse mat as well. I use the Razer Vespula Gaming Mouse Mat - Dual Sided To begin, this mouse is nothing short of fantastic. It has revolutionised my gaming. I have a lot of experience playing Call of Duty and consider myself to be a very good at it. I used to use the dualshock. On Team Deathmatch my ratio was around 2.30. I kept seeing people on the leaderboards with ratios of 5, 6 ,7 and even higher. Very rare ratios but still they were there. I knew that they must be doing something differently. So I looked on the internet and found that some people were using mice to play. I never even knew that could be done. I researched some mice on the internet and came up with this one. The sensitivity dial on it goes from 1 to 10. The trick is to get a good balance between this sensitivity and the one in the game (the one you change in options). Basically, the in-game sensitivity controls your up,down,left and right speed and the 'dialled' sensitivity (the one on the mouse) controls the mouse's responsiveness. When I play I am several feet away from a 37" tv. I sit on my living room couch. Through trial and error I have found that an in-game sensitivity of 9 and a dialled sensitivity of 3 work best. Anything higher I find is just too fast. Maybe your setup is different but I hope this saves you some time should you decide to purchase. The mouse comes with a dongle that in effect represents the left half of a dualshock. You have the option to button map should you so wish. I would stick with the default if i were you, save for swapping the grenade and crouch buttons with each other (much easier). This mouse is wired (which I like) and the build is lightweight so treat it well. The dongle may be a bit large for some. If you purchase this mouse you will not look back. It's magic is that it has great accuracy at great speed. It has at least doubled my ratio on team deathmatch (currently 4.69 and rising) and has been more than worth the money to me. Who had the idea to make a mouse so small?
