**Q: would this work as a runner in a kitchen?**
A: Probably better than a yoga mat. It is stiff and doesnt grip your hands and feet like I thought it would, but now its mine, so I will use it. Perhaps it is a better door mat. Let me know, I will repurpose it

For price and performance fantastic. I’ve taught yoga for over 10 years. I personally practice 2-4x a week on this mat primarily hot yoga and it’s holding up great! I don’t roll it up great and I toss it around and it’s handling it like a champ. You do have to roll it with cork on the outside or it will crease. I also recommend pour a little or spray a little water where your hands and feet go in the beginning of practice to give more traction - not slip. Once I start sweating it’s fine but in the beginning sometimes it’s a little slippery. (I’ve used all the name brand mats over my career and practice and I just wanted to see how a cheap basic mat would compare and this has been better than I expected).
