I play senior softball in two leagues and on two traveling tournament teams and the Melee has been my go-to bat for two years. However, this Melee has not broken in correctly and it continues to be stiff, with a different sound when hit. I suggest sticking with a reputable bat seller that you are comfortable with such as Batsunlimited.com versus amazon, for example. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ good pop *by D***G on Reviewed in the United States on 13 October 2018* I like the feel of this bat. Even though the barrel is 12", it seems pretty easy to catch the sweet spot. I haven't hit many long balls with it yet, but the ball seems to come off the bat with extra velocity.
