Easy install, so far so good. ### ⭐ Don’t place that in corvette *by J***D on February 17, 2025* Worst product with out detail the very ugly design ### ⭐⭐⭐ Decent, not great. *by W***L on May 8, 2025* If you have a C8 Z51, you have an ugly front splitter piece that looks like plastic made for a Rubber Maid storage bin. No paint.. just ugly. What you may also know is that these splitters are basically disposable. They are the first thing to crack if you hit a curb, or enter a steep driveway too quick (yes, even with axle lift engaged). Recently, my aftermarket splitter was destroyed when a woodchuck ran in front of me while I was going 45mph. However, it protected the rest of the car's nose completely. This one is now splitter #3 for me.Installation went ok. It was surprised that compared to the stock splitter (and my other, now dead, aftermarket splitter), this unit uses 2 less attachment points/screws than those. I saved the screws, knowing I'll eventually replace this one when it inevitably gets destroyed also.Speaking of inevitability, this unit is a fairly thin, unimpressive plastic. It's not horribly thin, but it doesn't feel as strong as stock. In addition to being thinner and having 2 less mounting screws, it's also more than double the size! If this feels like a bad combination and something that is going to further increase the likelihood of damage, I agree. Personally, I think the stock unit is conservatively small and I prefer bigger. However, this feels too big, to be honest. I'm starting to get used to the look over time though. I think the perfect, "Goldilocks" size would be something that's about half way in between the stock Z51 until and this one. I like how it extends beyond the sides, but also wish it was a little less huge in that area.The surface finish is listed as gloss black, but it's actually metallic and a decent enough match to the Carbon Flash trim that's all over the car. The paint finish is very nice, but just handing the unit out of the box seemed to start causing surface scratches, so I quickly applied a couple coats of ceramic detailer spray to give it some protection.Overall, if this look is something you like, and you're willing to be SUPER careful not to damage it, this is a decent enough splitter. I was torn between giving 2 or 3 stars overall.
