We now have several quart jars displayed on countertop, with crackers, pretzels, nuts, raisins. We even use for opened cans of soups, fruits, tricky to use for liquids but they will keep a long time without spoiling (due to no air). Used for long and short storage time, but not for glass in freezer. We also have small wide mouth jars. Think dried fruits even. Tried it on mini-marshmellows, fun to watch as it seals, but not good to store them. Overall, easy to use, not heavy, great product for us...we are in our upper 70's.

Easy to use. Kept close to use after a jar is opened. Very easy to wash in dishwasher. We now have several quart jars displayed on countertop, with crackers, pretzels, nuts, raisins. We even use for opened cans of soups, fruits, tricky to use for liquids but they will keep a long time without spoiling (due to no air).
