I bought the stainless steel version and it’s exactly what I would expect which is a solid stainless steel pot, a medium gauge stainless, I wouldn’t call it heavy, but definitely a medium gauge pot that’s sturdy secure and constructed from a single piece of stainless meaning no welds where corrosion can develop over time. It boils water quickly and it’s super clean efficient and looks beautiful on our stove. The handle actually stays at a reasonable temp so it can be held without bare hands as long as you’re flame stays under the pot! The only issue I found is that the little spout cover will sometime interfere with the pouring of boiling water so you have to flip it back before you pour and it stays there securely while you’re pouring and allows you to get a clean pour. Also we love the train horn whistle which is somewhat muted, but we are usually in the vicinity of the kitchen while we’re boiling water, which is where you should be whenever you have something in the stove! So for us, it’s not a problem. Other than that it’s outstanding. I love it. My wife loves it, which is a real win for me and I highly recommend it. You can’t get a better value for your money!
