Three months of daily use and holding up well! The handles are not fraying or falling apart. The clip is lightweight yet strong and slides open easily. It’s hit the concrete a few times and hasn’t bent or scratched. My dog occasionally gets riled up and the occasional “Squirrel!” moments are no longer scary as I know the clip isn’t going to break apart and the handles are not going to hurt my hands. I have the black with red trim with a black collar and a slide on name tag in red and it looks great. This leash will keep a large dog tethered but lightweight so small dog friendly as well.
