It will tell you if your battery is charging and it will put the engine light out but that’s about it. Really good and pretty essential for any modern car. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good bit of kit for the DIY Mechanic *by G***E on 8 December 2019* When it arrived i opened it up and briefly scanned through the instructions, i noticed that the language (English) was OK but not brilliant, maybe a translating issue? but it all made sense, the reader appears to be of good quality and for the size it is very light. I followed the instructions to update it, but it was already loaded with the latest update, bonus. plugged into my ford focus and went through the instruction manual trying all the different options. i do have a fault of which i know about which i presume is something to do with the hole in the exhaust(replacement in the shed awaiting my attention ). It gave me the fault code and after selecting my manufacturer it came back as unrecognised or something similar. i'm a bit disappointed as the ford focus is not what you call a rare car over here in the UK. But on the whole this may be down to my lack of experience with these type of machines. As a self taught mechanic, i found that the device was easy to navigate and simple enough to use, i managed to clear my fault code after reading all the instructions and actually doing it on the device as i went.
