Review: Good sensors but a reflector type sensor is easier to install on many driveway gates. - This review is for CO-Z Infrared Sensor Set for Gate Opener, Lens Rotatable Infrared Photoelectric Beam Sensor with Wireless Receiver, Outdoor for Garage Door Window Balcony These work well but note that if you are using them for a driveway gate, both sides need to be wired. Well, not exactly true - you can use batteries in the emitter - but that is not a very efficient option for the long term. If you have operators on both sides, then you likely already have conduit for the operator power cords and, if the conduit is large enough, you can just run the wire through that no problem. But if you don't, a reflector arrangement (which doesn't need power for the far side) is much more easily installed. The sensors are a bit on the larger side compared to some others but likely that is because the emitter has a battery option. We haven't had any rain so I cannot opine on the quality of the water resistance.

Easy to set up, much less temperamental to maintaining IR beam alignment than other brands I’ve tried. I especially like the battery/wired power option. Company was also very responsive to a small issue I had with one of the rain covers. Highly recommended
