Thanks to reviewers for their responses for this product, and to the seller for providing exact measurements.In our normal-size kitchen, we have a minuscule pantry; if we still had children living at home, we probably would not have purchased this home, and the pantry would have been one reason. In an area between the shelves and the front wall/door on each side of the pantry, my husband installed these these shoe organizers. They fit perfectly, and package items, small boxes, pouches, seasoning envelopes, items from the "junk" drawer that needed to be saved - fit well, and leave room on the shelves for canned goods. The mesh let's you see what's in the pocket. Problem solved. There are two of these each narrow so they fit and a tight space. I will say that each pocket fits one shoe unless they are flat sandals or flat sneakers, but it is a nice quality and breathes nicely, so the shoes can breathe. These will fit a panel that is at least 12 inches wide. I am looking for some that are narrower for a closet with smaller panels. I will order more of these for another closet though. And the mesh is nice rather than plastic because air can flow around items like shoes andlittle cleaning items. For shoes you can put 1 shoe or 2 flip flops into each pocket.
