The trouble I had was with squirrels. We put these lights around a tree and treehouse and they ate threw the wire! Not just in one spot. Multiple places. They chewed right on either side of the bulbs and took them all around my yard too haha. But, after a month they still lit up at night well beyond our bedtimes.
