Review: A great unusual seasoning! - I bought this on the strength of an article in Saveur magazine- it was something of a risk because it's not cheap ($17.00 a bottle). But I can say it was worth it to me. It's actually not very spicy- it looks like it would be almost inedible due to the bright red color and all the chili seeds in it. I thought it would be extremely hot, but it isn't- it's more salty than spicy. It also isn't very fishy, it's just an interesting somewhat salty flavor I can't describe, but as the Saveur article said, it's great on pizza! Anyway, I'm very satisfied and will get some for my foodie friends as a present.

Was told it was garlicky , peppery, and spicy! It was neither! It was bland! Definitely not worth the price!
