I am 5 feet 10" and weight about 220 lbs. The size I purchased is XL and it fits perfectly. I use to wear hard protective knee pads (ones typically for roller blade) for snowboarding because I am a beginner and I always fall. The hard knee pads are very inflexible so I purchased these compression knee pads instead. When I wore them, I found it very flexible and it fits very nicely. I think it would be perfect for snowboarding usage. I plan to use these knee pads for basketball as well. Overall, I think it is a good purchase consider its competitive price point. I took couple pictures to illustrate the thickness of these knee pads and how it fits on my legs. ### ⭐⭐⭐ comfortable enough, but they want to roll down. *by B***R on July 9, 2018* Seem well made, but they do not stay up very well.
