This also comes with a nice case, cables, 18650 battery and a power adapter. Would have given 5 stars if the PC software is provided with the unit but unfortunately that's not the case. But I would still recommend this over ones sold by other vendors. As a sink, it will measure if the correct signal is provided. Of course if you have access to both inputs and outputs of your HDBT system, it will test the complete system. To do this, connect output from tester to the input of the HDBT setup and output of the HDBT to the input of the tester. How hard is it to load useful test patterns on a generator, so you can properly setup monitors/displays. Like so many of these devices out there, it lacks those fundamental patterns. This specific one lacks patterns to allow you to set up Gamma, black level, white level, and detailed CMS. It literally would cost them nothing to add the proper useful patterns in (other than memory).
