I followed the procedure to clean it and further "season' it with a thin coating of vegetable oil. This made it non-stick even during its first use. Great for making sourdough or any oversized loaf - - or bake two boules at once. This is a heavy, oversized pan. Heat distribution in the oven is excellent - - my levain loaf came out completely and evenly cooked. This should last a lifetime or longer! The included tools are not the fanciest but are quite functional. Again, the price is outrageously fair and quite a bargain.
