The key requirement for me was the ability to sample the temperature and humidity frequently - every 5 or 10 minutes. Most of the other inexpensive ones that I found being offered on desertcart did not meet this requirement (very coarse sampling intervals) or seemed to have accuracy issues. But YoLink's version X3 product has been great - it samples every 5 minutes and is accurate and stable. Another big positive is its long-range connectivity to the hub (tested it for over 100 meters). All of the other products I tested had frustrating wi-fi range issues which made them unusable for my house. The Yolink X3 unit has been great - I installed one unit at the back of my house, and another in the attic - far away from each other, and I found both to successfully connect with the hub and provide consistent data.
