We have an electric glass hob 1-6 heat range and this definitely takes longer to get hot enough than the usual non stick pans, big change there and it doesn't spread its heat as uniformly as a thick pan but better than usual Teefal pans. Hopefully this one won't develope a crest in the middle like other Teefals to, it's perfectly flat and uniform.
