That's what it says on the containers, I think! **Q: What is the average shelf life of this product once opened?** A: mine is in the frig. still good 3-4 months later. my only complaint about this product is the bits of dried chili which should be stained out. provecho! **Q: Is there cumin in this?** A: Hi there, Fergus from Gran Luchito here. The Chipotle Paste does not have any cumin in it. **Q: Can i use this instead of chipolte pepper adobo?** A: I don't know if I fully understand what you are asking or its context, but I hope this helps. Personally, I have used the Chipotle adobo sauce found in most grocery stores and have not liked the taste. This is a better product because it does not have additional flavor profiles. It's just Chipotle pepper processed into a paste. I use it to spice up chile soup or other Mexican dishes or mix it with olive oil or Caesar dressing to spice up roasted vegetables. I If you are trying simply trying to find a substitute sauce, I would not recommend it because this is a paste, not a sauce. But, if you are looking to add chipotle flavor to a dish then this is the way to go. you probably only use about a teaspoon of this stuff at a time depending on your personal taste. Hope that helps. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent little product - would recommend *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 12 May 2016* Super little product, tasty, versatile and easy to use and gives a punch of heat and smoky flavour to a wide variety of dishes. I used it in homemade Mexican stir fried chicken with pepper and oinion then wrapped in tortillas with homemade salsa and yoghurt - lovely smoky kick - go easy if you prefer a milder taste as the chilli is quite strong, but it is a lovelt warming burn. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really good product. Although the price seems premium *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 10 January 2016* Really good product. Although the price seems premium, the chilli paste is well worth it and and little amount goes a very long way! My wife and I had Joe Wickes leanin15 turkey burgers and instead of Chipotle chilli paste we used this gran luchito and it brought a while new flavour dimension! Absolutely awesome! Will be purchasing more gran luchito products for sure! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ You hardly come across chili pastes or sauces that are made solely of good stuff- this one is *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 8 June 2016* This paste is just divine! I recently took a serious liking in chili and I put it in literally everything. I have a long and stable relationship with anything smoked so when I saw it online I knew I had to try it- a match made in Heaven. You hardly come across chili pastes or sauces that are made solely of good stuff- this one is! It is a very thick paste so it takes a bit of stirring in but it's all because it is so concentrated and a little goes a long way. It's not very hot though so when I want to make my food very spicy I put in some more dried chili with it. It will be a staple in my kitchen and will try other Gran Luchito products. Also, I'm a sucker for nice packaging and how cool is this? ## Frequently Bought Together - Gran Luchito Mexican Chipotle Chili Paste 3.5oz | Handmade in Mexico | Super Smoky Chipotle Sauce with A Medium to High Heat | All Natural & Gluten/GMO Free - Perfect For Mexican Cooking - KIKKOMAN Glaze Soy Sweet Sauce, 11.8 Ounce - iSpice - SOUTHWEST SEASONING World Flavor Super Spice Blend | All Natural | Ready to use as is | No preparation is necessary --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pl/products/65162971-gran-luchito-chipotle-paste-1-yellow](https://www.desertcart.pl/products/65162971-gran-luchito-chipotle-paste-1-yellow) --- *Product available on Desertcart Poland* *Store origin: PL* *Last updated: 2026-10-30*
