Sincere question.** A: I bought one and found it lacking. The intake and vacuum ports aren't separated enough for it to work properly. I needed to add an attachment so that the intake would bring the vacuumed debris much lower than the vacuum port so that the finer dust could settle on the bottom without being sucked into the vac itself. That was half the battle. The distance from top to bottom in a 5 gallon bucket doesn't allow enough space for separation of dust and bigger debris. I cut the bottom 3/4" off of the top bucket then taped around the cut edge to reinforce it. Then I cut the bottom 1" off of a second bucket with a lid. I inverted the second bucket and slid the top bucket into it. This worked well but a good percentage of the finer dust was still going into the shop vac.
