A: I definitely would not use this as a bathroom fitting

**Q: Does this fitting take a normal bayonet light bulb??**
A: This takes a screw in bulb not bayonet.

**Q: Hi do they work with dimmer switches**
A: They are a pretty standard wiring so should be fine . Generally you need to be careful with the bulb you use as not all bulbs are dimmable
