So I am trying different methods, especially in those areas where I don't have electrical outlets to plug in a dehumidifier. Therefore, when I saw these, I thought I would give them a try. They are fragrance free, and came in a pack of three, which measure 6.1 x 3.3 x 4.1 inches each. Globular calcium chloride particles are used to pull moisture from the air, which is collected in a separate layer at the bottom of the box. So far, they have worked as advertised. It has been two weeks since I placed it under the sink and it has collected the moisture and humidity that accumulates there. No leaks or no smell from it and it all remains in one place with no messy cleanups. It comes in a package of three sealed containers. All you have to do is remove the outer plastic wrapping, take off the foil covered top without puncturing the white sealed one and replace the lid. You place them anywhere you know stays damp or runs hot. You know it works once the beads liquify. I’m not certain how long one box lasts, so I’ll say it depends on where it’s been placed. They’re small enough to fit almost anywhere.
