The so called smart thermostat can't read temperature and you have to use a separate thermometer to work out the offset for it to read correctly. Then once you have gone through all that and set the desired temperature say 21 degrees when the room gets to 21 degrees the heating stays on for around another degree. I use an oil boiler and ended up using around a litre more oil a day using this rubbish. So gone back to my old Next thermostat which can tell the temperature and even turns the heating off at the set temperature...go figure! Review: Very good and absolutely required for proper automatic temperature control of your rooms. Seems to be calibrated well (after setting an offset in the app). I give it 4 stars because every single one froze after connecting it to the network, requiring a restart eventually. I suspect that this could be some firmware update, but at the end, just need to wait some 4-5 minutes, unplug battering and turn it back on. Wok like a charm since then. Another small thing, I wish it showed current and set set temperature at the same time, similarly to the thermostats. At the moment it shows one then the other after a few seconds. Der tado° Funk-Temperatursensor X hat genau dieses Problem gelöst und die smarte Heizkörpersteuerung spürbar verbessert. Schon nach der Installation merkt man, wie viel genauer und angenehmer die Raumtemperatur geregelt wird, weil nicht mehr direkt am Heizkörper gemessen wird, sondern dort, wo die Wärme wirklich ankommen soll. Die Installation ist angenehm einfach und absolut DIY-tauglich. Sensor platzieren, mit der App koppeln, fertig. Kein Bohren, keine Kabel, kein technisches Vorwissen nötig. Das macht ihn ideal für den Alltag, gerade wenn man keine Lust auf komplizierte Technik hat, sondern einfach möchte, dass es funktioniert.
