I was introduced to these pens 25 years ago at a job that required writing in a field notebook, and we were required to use water-fast/solvent-fast pens that do not absorb water or other solvents. So everyone at work used these. They write beautifully. I think they only have one tip size - but Uniball does make some other pens that aren't water-fast that have bigger tips (not as easy to write with those though.) Uniball has always been a very high quality producer of pens and I recommend them highly. You might have to figure out which one/ones suit you the best depending on what you're using them for and they are expensive usually so you have to try to get them on sale.
