In 1987, American Honda commissioned DC Sports to develop a header for their SCCA prepped CRX's and the result cumulated was our first 4 into 1 header design. It was so well received that Honda requested headers for other applications. That system is the one that started it all (HHC5002). Review: Tricky install for Subaru Forester but ultimately fits and looks good. - I can confirm this will fit a 2025 Subaru Forester Premium trim with no modification to the tailpipe but some inventive installation solutions. The tail pipe on my forester flares out at the end so this will not slip on with the hardware already attached. So I had to hot glue 2 of the flat bolts in place and slide the last bolt in place once I slide this past the flared out edge. Then i was able to thread all the bolts in by rotating the pipe to get to all of them. Centered it and tightened down the bolts. I did not push this all the way back as the mounting hardware would come into contact with the muffler and probably cause a rattle down the line. This will result in this sticking out past the bumper a little from certain angles. Looks a lot better then stock to me. Review: Looks nice but may require some modification of your tailpipe - My wife saw this on a Forester forum and thought it looked better than the very small, recessed, chrome trim on her 2025 Forester Touring. That is the top trim level in the US, I know other countries have different names for the various trim levels. The OEM trim ring Touring tailpipe is held in place by a welded bracket on the short pipe exiting the muffler at the rear of the car. Along with the bracket, the very end of the pipe swells out to a larger diameter to match the inside of the chrome trim piece. The larger diameter doesn't allow the new tip to slide on without removing all the hardware. The welded bracket doesn't allow the tip to slide all the way onto the pipe. Believe me, I know how this sounds as I type it. Cut the bracket off, slid the tip past the larger section and reassembled the hardware. Clamped it down and it looks very nice. The exhaust tip has three adjustable screw on clamps to fit over an exhaust pipe. Personally, I paid a exhaust shop to weld this tip into my pipe. The pipe of my car (2 1/4 in) was smaller in width than the inlet side of the exhaust tip and then the pipe was inserted just about an inch past the clamps and the welded on from the outside. The black coating will burn off so remember to paint it to cover it up. Long story short, it depends in his wide your current exhaust pipe is. If it's smaller than 2 1/4 in, Tyne exhaust shop could widen a pipe to fit it for a weld. Simply using the clamps may not suffice in securely holding the tip as vibration and beat may cause the metal/tip to slide off over time.
