You should space for both types of storage cards. **Q: Will the 256gb card work with canon 5D mark ii? my camera cannot read the card and claim the card is not formatted.** A: My 5D Mark II had the firmware updated by Canon themselves and the 256GB card from Lexar or SanDisk would not format in my camera. Tried everything suggested and card would not format. So the answer is no. Its fast and no buffering problems.The only problem is that I have to connect my camera to the computer to transfer as no card reader lasts long enough to read the card for more than couple of times.This is not a problem of the card but that of the card reader.I spoke to most of my photography friends and they to face the same problem.Other than this its working beautifully and serving the purpose to the fullest. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars However I decided to give the Extreme Pro card a try and was amazed by the difference it made *by A***D on Reviewed in India on 9 December 2016* I had been using Sandisk Extreme card on my 7D which has a speed of 120 MB/s. My DSLR was able to sustain higher fps for longer time without running out of buffer. If you are using a slow speed CF card then a jump to this card will give you a huge boost.
