The tension is uniform in the rubber and since its one single chunk, there's much less probability of snapping off like the bands with handles.Resistance training is still very different from weight training so don't expect absolute results by just doing this at home. Of course this would help a little.I bought this because its super light and portable and easy to carry when I travel around, I can just casually put in in my bag and workout my muscles a bit for maintenance.Make sure your form is proper which exercising since in resistance training or any training for that matter, form is the key.
