A bit expensive though... - After some usage - A very handy and apt backrest Liked: 1. Comfort - softness and firmness is good. I have sat on it for few hours working on my laptop, and felt more comfortable than similar duration on my mattress. i.e the memory foam is nice. 2. Ease - the backrest is easy to operate, the click mechanism you can feel to adjust the inclination as per your liking - have used as an upright chair, a reclining lounger etc., and is easy to readjust as well. Just bend the whole way up till the click happens, and you will feel the release and backrest becomes free to adjust 3. Felt durable up till now - the spring hopefully is good enough, currently it supports well. Haven't tried to burden/test it though, but holds up well for back support in the normal sitting or lying posture. 4. Outer cover - is soft to feel. I hope I can wash it when needed. Consideration: 1. The whole outer cloth covers it completely, so we place it on a mat than putting it on floor directly, to prevent dirtying 2. The seat size will only cover your tushi, and not whole if you sit cross-legged. Even if you sit in upright position, your legs, mid-thigh onwards will be out of the seat. So difficult for yoga sitting - better use a yoga mat. 3. Price is high! Though I like the overall quality, but still price feels quite high for a backrest accessory. This has been another purchase from GRIN and I like the products. I did research other backrest/seat options available on desertcart, but this is one is liked to buy. Bought the purple one. I'm in small house so can't buy huge furnitures easily. This floor chair has definitely saved me from permanently damaging my spine. Now all I need is a sturdy matching pillow for additional leg support. Seller please contact me if you have any. The padding foam used is a good sturdy type which doesn't sink all the way when using it. The removable velvet cover is plush and seems to be of top notch quality. I'm 5'2" so I can sit cross legged comfortably but taller people might not be able to do so. Definitely need additional pillows for leg support as the chair is around 5 or 6 inches thick. The back support mechanism is smooth and easy to operate. I was able to change the angle of inclination without any difficulty. I bought this for around 7.5K during non sale time which is higher than sale price but it still is worth it.
