You'll need to have the bulb several inches below the lowest water level you want to achieve and you'll need the effluent end to be still lower without much if any rise in between. Of course you'll need to attach 50+ feet of hose/tubing to the effluent end. That hose should ideally be 7/8" but you can use 1/2" ID tubing and a heat gun to attach it to the effluent side.
