I would have liked it to be a little taller but it is still very suitable for casual sitting on while carrying out various tasks upstairs. It is well made and a lovely colour. I haven't found a use for the inside yet as that wasn't what I wanted it for, but I might find something to put in it in time although there isn't a lot of room inside. Not only is the size I bought, just right for putting your feet up, but it is ideal for putting tv remotes in or a newspaper/magazine. It is very sturdy, and well made and it looks very classy.
