I did not find these too small at all. I actually had to use a size 7 on this middle finger. This finger conveniently had an older nail lift quite a bit (3+ weeks so it's time to remove the rest, too, but this one was already well on its way out), so I just put on one to test out the forms. I used the stiletto-shaped form, Modelones Solid Builder Gel for Nails Hard Gel for Nails Non-Sticky Poly Gel, in clear, and my own pink glitter. I used dehydrator, primer then a thin layer of base coat, all Modelones, cured for 60 seconds. I rolled a bead of the gel in the glitter, pressed the gel into the form, thinner at the cuticle and the free edge, making sure to get all the way to the sides, and evenly. I put the filled form onto my nail, pressed gently, situating and getting it straight, using a cuticle tool to scrape any excess that was pushed out from beneath the form. There was VERY little excess. I smoothed the underside with a silicone tool then cured for 90 seconds, then flipped my finger over and cured 60 seconds to make sure the underneath was completely cured. Then I popped off the form, filed the sides of the nail and filed the length down some. Top coat on top and the under side, cured both. No filing of the surface was needed at all!! This is my first attempt at nails with forms and no tips of any kind. The other nails were done with non sticky solid builder gel used to apply full cover tips and gel top coat. They're great, too, but there's no excess material on my natural nails and they can be filled in!
