If you want them to button them, order 1 size up. If you want to be able to sit, bend down, eat a meal, drink water, etc, go up 2 sizes. My husband is 5’7” and 140 lbs. 32x30 was perfect. This is our second time ordering as the first time his standard size of 30x30 wouldn’t button and made him look like the pillsbury dough boy.
