The optical audio out was what I needed, to get the 5.1 signal from my Roku to my Blu-Ray player (which is also my sound system), since the TV is old and would not pass it through HDMI. It was dead easy to set up -- though, do note you'll need a USB power adapter or else a USB port on your power strip -- and has given no trouble at all. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works but one minor issue *by R***Y on Reviewed in the United States on April 13, 2019* Works as intended only thing with my adapter was that the USB cable provided wasn't working well and caused video/audo to turn on and off.
