Thank you.** A: Multiple sources since they are grown in various states throughout the United States. **Q: Are they organic?** A: No they are not Organic, but they are NON- GMO **Q: Can these sprout if soaked? Thanks in advance.** A: Not sure. We eat them. But they don't have any processing other than cleaning, so they should sprout. Even some beans 5 years old will sprout if watered. I suggest you take a dozen or so, put them between 2 soaked paper towels in a warmish (65+) degree room and see what happens. These appear to be the same as you would buy in a grocery and those sprout. Anyway, my son buys 'seed beans' and innoculates them for planting each spring. I rinsed and then placed them in a 6 1/2qt enameled cast iron dutch oven; I then placed them in my oven at 225 degrees for a durationof 7 hours. First brining in kosher salt, and then Slo-o-o-ow cooking is the secret to arriving at beans with tender skins and excellent bite thatmelt in your mouth.
