Review: 2019 Durango GT Plus - Over all the installation of this hitch was not hard. I liked the Bolt wire guides, and how they helped to fish the hardware into position. Taking off the Durango rear bumper cover is what took me the longest. Everything is included in this packaging that you should need to complete this job. The one thing that I would have wanted to see sized with a bigger head is the replacement push rivets that hold on the wheel well inner liner. Besides some basic tools, it would be helpful to have a pop rivet gun that is designed to work for those couple fasteners you will need to replace. Over all, this is a good hitch and I like how it mounts like the OEM hitch. I was able to install the cover access panel, which is why I chose this model hitch. You will just need to drill 2 holes in the metal, and use some self tapping screws so you can secure the mounts in place. Of course the packing is terrible, boxed way to big and the hitch was busting out of the box. All in all, I'd recommend this one if you want a hitch that does'nt hang below the bumper. I also used a Tekonsha 118617 wiring kit and installed that myself as well.
Review: Easy to install, but suggest some minor modifications to your bumper - Overall I'm giving this 5 stars. I have 2 cons for this but I think they are not big enough to warrant docking a star. As far as those cons go, I wish the bracket for the trailer plug was located elsewhere and the chain points are right on the bottom of the cutout. Now with that said, I have a 2014 Dodge Durango Limited and it has the bumper style where it has a cover that you can take off and put back on at will. It does indeed fit behind that regular cover (the bulged out one was not necessary for me and so it looks much cleaner). I've seen different bumper covers/styles for these and I'm not sure what models have what. But while I'm very happy with the installed look (as in it looks like it's not there when the cover is installed) there is no way to mount a 7-pin harness and the chain points are basically touching the cover (which makes me think the chains are going to damage it at some point. However, the solution is to cut off that section of your bumper. Wait, what? You shouldn't have to do that, right? Well, no, you shouldn't. But if you simply cut off the plastic section in between the supports (where the cover that comes off screw in on the bottom) you don't lose anything. It still looks okay with the cover removed and when the cover is on you can't see that section anyway. Now if you're just installing a 4-pin trailer plug then it will fit just fine. You could also not mount the plug and just secure it inside the opening and pull it out when needed. The factory made hitch has cutouts for the trailer plugs. If this one had that it would be even better. Even with those issues, it's still the best one I could find. It's hidden and not below the bumper which is a huge plus and doesn't require the ugly bulged out cover on the bumper. Keeps everything looking clean. It was super easy to install. I did not have to lower the exact or the spare tire as I had tools that would fit in the spaces easily enough.

Over all the installation of this hitch was not hard. I liked the Bolt wire guides, and how they helped to fish the hardware into position. Taking off the Durango rear bumper cover is what took me the longest. Everything is included in this packaging that you should need to complete this job. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Can’t even tell it’s there!

Seems good. Installation was straight forward not really easy but not extremely difficult either. Did not have to lower exhaust and Only had to lower the spare tire about a foot so I could torque the nuts down. Fit behind the factory cover. Can’t even tell it is there! I really like that it doesn’t ruin the lines of the car but the functionality is there when ever we need it. Very happy.
