Review: Just what I was looking for! A steamer big enough to steam jumbo artichokes! - I love this steamer! At 9.3 QT capacity (5.5 QT steamer & 3.8 QT pot) It's so easy to use too! The diameter of the steamer and pot is aout nine and a half inches enabling me to steam nearly everything! Big bonus for me is that the steamer is tall enough and large enough to fit three to four jumbo artichokes! Most steamer baskets are too short to do this without having to cut the artichokes. It's not only functional but beautiful as well! The stainless steel steamer and pot is superbly finished with a bright almost mirror-like finish. It has a clear glass dome which makes it easy to check on your food as it steams. It's well made, the thickness of the steel is a bit thinner than I'm used to, but it's still very strong. The fit of the steamer top to the pot is perfect! The steamer sits down in the pot about an inch which provides an excellent seal; it's not a sloppy loose fit either, it's snug with an almost piston-like precision. The triple thick construction of the base distributes the heat evenly providing for a more steady steam. The quality of the stainless steel is excellent, I've noticed no staining whatsoever after a month's nearly daily use. I'm looking forward to many years of use with this excellent product.

I absolutely love this steamer. I’ve used it almost every single day since I bought it, and it has genuinely made cooking so much easier. The size is great and quality feels solid and well‑made. it’s also incredibly simple to use, even when I’m rushing to get dinner together. Since getting it, I haven’t had a single batch of overcooked broccoli. Everything comes out perfectly tender every time, It’s one of those kitchen tools I didn’t realize I needed until I had it.
