What weight can these space plugs hold?** A: Hi and thanks for your question. I'm the inventor of Space-Plug and used to be a professional handyman. You have a difficult problem to solve. Space-Plug works to prevent compression. Its not designed to be Load Bearing. If you used space-plug to bridge the gap the curtains load would be taken by the screw itself. If you could have several on each bracket it might well work but fundamentally hanging something heavy off a 6mm screw thats actually 80mm out of the wall is a big ask. A lot would depend on the curtain pole bracket design.
