The train seems to get hung up on the road pieces once in a while but that doesn't bother them- they just adjust the train and it continues on! **Q: Do the cars move on their own?** A: No, the cars don't move by themselves. However, the train does move by itself. **Q: Does this have ALL of the pieces parts cars and tracks?** A: This is a track expansion pack for your existing pieces like cars and tracks. **Q: How much table space will this take up? We have a train table approximately 4x4 feet and want to have a good size track.** A: I bought this track because it could be any size depending on how you put it together. My daughter did not have room for the big sets.
