Dafür kann ich jetzt bestätigen, dass das Segel (zumindest die von mir gekaufte 300x200-cm-Variante) auch windiges Wetter, Starkregenschauer und überraschende Gewitterböen aushält, ohne dass z.B. an den Befestigungsösen oder Nähten Auflösungserscheinungen erkennbar sind. Zur Hagel- und Tornadofestigkeit kann ich derzeit noch nichts sagen. Will man das Segel wirklich bei jedem Wetter draußen lassen, was ich trotz meiner eher unfreiwilligen Versuchsreihe nicht empfehlen würde, sollte man die Befestigung natürlich entsprechend stabil auslegen.Ich hatte mich für die hellbeige Variante entschieden. Sie lässt zwar so viel Sonne durch, dass man die Wärme spürt, wenn man sich in den Schatten des Segels setzt oder legt, dafür kommt aber auch so viel Licht durch, dass es im Wohnzimmer nicht dunkel wird, wenn man das Segel, wie ich, als Markisenersatz vor der Terrassentür verwendet. Einen Nachteil bei einer solchen Befestigung an der Wand will ich nicht verschweigen: Die konkave Schnittform sorgt dafür, dass es immer einen Spalt gibt, durch den die Sonne hindurch scheint. Wird als Vordach an meinen Campingwagen montiert.
