I have no issues with it heating up or the blades getting hot. They aren’t overly heavy. Make sure to oil and keep clean so the blade stays sharp longer. I know from working in this industry for 16 years so many don’t oil or clean their clippers! The only thing I don’t like is the charging cord is short and they did not turn on to use while plugged in. That’s inconvenient. Review: Great for people starting a career or even self care. The cost of it is not much compared to what barbers were paying for a set of clippers.
