I wear a 32 and I could barely button them. And that's right out the bag, if you was to wash them... forget about it. I like the look and feel of them. But this is why I gave it 3 stars instead of 4. Because you have to pay to ship them back. I was gonna order a 34 but I didn't want them to not fit and I'd have to pay more. This day in age when buying clothes online should always be free returns if they don't fit. Plus the bag they ship it in isn't resealable for returns and that's another thing I have to spend money on for something that doesn't fit. Talk about inconvenience....Updated.... I originally gave three stars but the sellers wanted to make it right so I commend them for that and change my rating. They do run small. They are on the thin side and I had to buy white underwear as all his were colored. They were much too short. Probably 30 length and he wears a 34. But the reason I got them was to wear while walking on the beach to protect his fair skin from the sun and they worked fine for picking up seashells on the beach and he was mostly covered at least down past his knees. Then I made the mistake of calling them capris. They fit perfect and look great. They are like a relaxed fit, but not super baggy like some linen pants. The inseam is definitely longer than 32'' which causes them to bunch a bit around the ankle/shoe area, but I actually like that. The taupe looks pretty dark colored and almost olive green in the pictures. It is not like that at all in person. It's more just a bit darker and richer than khaki colored. Enough so that it doesn't bother me because I really don't like khaki. To me the most important thing is fit and comfort, and these are excellent.
