These historic early recordings had been lovingly restored and re-mastered from a wide variety of source masters, the Mahler album was taken from the original piano rolls and represents the only known recordings of Gustav Mahler by Mahler himself and accompanied by extensive and comprehensive sleeve notes by acknowledged experts on each chosen artist. The new sleeve designs also bring the series into the modern age.

This is an excellent collection of 18 pieces of Kreisler playing Kreisler, without pops and crackles.  The only fault is that one of the pieces is listed (twice) as  "Liebeslied" (Love's Song) when it is actually "Liebesleid" (Love's Sorrow)!  It is, nevertheless, an absolute snip at £2.05 including p&p from Hallmark.  Strongly recommended.
