Review: Kitty loves - Oh so cute, our kitty fit perfectly and he loves his new backpack and there was also a lot of little compartments
Review: Great for small pets - Love these! This is my second one for our pets since we got another one that requires its own. Two ferrets fit comfortably in this together. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will this carrier fit my 12-pound cat?**
A: For the best fit, we recommend this carrier for cats up to 10 lbs. Slim cats over 10 lbs may fit depending on body length and height. Please compare your pet’s measurements with the interior dimensions before ordering.

**Q: Should I air out the carrier before first use?**
A: Yes. A slight new-product odor may be noticeable after sealed storage and shipping. We recommend airing the carrier out in a well-ventilated area for about 24 hours before your pet’s first use.

**Q: Why does the bottom support pad seem too large?**
A: The support pad is designed to fit when the carrier is fully opened. Please unfold and flatten the bottom first, then place the pad flat inside and align all four corners. A partially folded base may make the pad appear too large.

**Q: What type of zipper does the upgraded carrier use?**
A: The upgraded version features durable dual zipper pulls with anti-escape locking clips. The secure closure helps reduce accidental opening and improves safety during everyday travel.

**Q: How does the expandable section help my cat?**
A: Unzip the rear expansion to create extra room for your cat to sit, turn, stretch, or rest more comfortably. It is especially useful during waiting times, breaks, and longer trips.
