I simply connected it to the car on the driveway, and when I returned, the 12V battery measured 12.6 V, the car started and drove perfectly, and there was no battery discharge or issues at all. The charger is easy to use, fully automatic, and very affordable at £18. It kept my OEM battery healthy without any need for upgrades or expensive replacements. One important note is that the cable is very short. I had to cut it and extend it by 2 metres to reach comfortably. If you do this, make sure to reconnect properly using electrical tape or solder the wires, and make it waterproof to avoid any risk of damage or short circuits. People should be aware of this before purchase.
