The old molding had deteriorated from nearly 2 decades in the blazing sun. I removed the old molding by using a plastic pry bar to lift it away from the windshield glass and a flat screwdriver to gently spread the 5 clasps that grip the molding. A flashlight helps, too.This molding is the right size, but it is not hard plastic like the original was. This is soft, flexible molding that doesn't stay flat.
