In an effort to age gracefully, I have recently gone on a health kick and have been eating a low carb diet and started working out again. I have been working out/eating right for about a year and was looking for something to give me an edge in the gym, you know that little extra pop. I started reading about hormones and found that opinions vary greatly about DHEA, but made up my mind to try it. I bought this to test it out. Results: The bottle says to use 3 pumps for my body weight, but I used 2 pumps (to be on the safe side, again I just wanted to see what, if anything happened while using it) every morning for a month while working out 4-5 times a week, (3-4 days moderate resistance training and 1-2 days cardio/ab work). After a few days, I felt more energetic, I slept better, I could focus and concentrate better at work, it extended my workouts because I felt like a beast and I could just keep going in the gym. Because of all of this my overall mood was better, I walked around with more confidence/self-esteem. I could definitely see a difference in the mirror after 30 days, nothing major, but I leaned out a bit and am getting great pumps in the gym. Even my daughter said "daddy's getting muscles" while poking my arms one night. Some research says that you should cycle on and off of any DHEA product so I am taking a month off, to see what happens when you stop. I am taking D-Aspartic Acid (DAA) right now as a natural "test booster" and a natural PCT (bunch of herbs blends and root extracts) to combat any side effects that might develop (again, just to be safe).
