Expect 2 or so hours of gameplay and always have fully topped spares on-hand (that will initially read as 3 of 4 bars charged). I'm not sure if this is self-discharging or draining batteries while off or using more power than usual. The batteries don't get hot so it's not a wild surge or short. Could be a diode dropping voltage too hard.I have not tried this with alkaline or Energizer Ultimate Lithium AA batteries. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well. It took us a minute to figure out how to pair them.There is a paring button on the remote, as well as on the front of the WII console after you pop open a little plastic cover. You have to hold both at the same time, for sever seconds, and might have to try several times before they pair.Once they are paired, they have worked every time.
