Review: Nice Guitar - This is a very nice guitar for the price range. It arrived 2 days earlier than expected, it was well packaged for protection. The finish was flawless, and it really is a beautiful guitar. Took it out of the box, tuned it and it played beautifully. The 5-way switch is a plus. The action is excellent, and the intonation is excellent. I normally play Fender Strats but wanted to try an Ibanez and I can say, even though it is a beginner guitar, I'm not disappointed. I recommend this guitar to anyone starting out who is looking for an inexpensive guitar that plays and sounds great.
Review: A fantastic guitar worth getting. - First of all this is a very beautiful guitar with a flat black finish and red accents all around with a red pick guard. Second of all I had it shipped to me, and out of the box it was very well set up. The only thing that I had to do was adjust the truss rod on the neck. Surprisingly it was mostly in tune. The frets were also filed down. You don’t see that in alot of other guitars, even in guitar shops.Especially the squire guitars. The neck is some kind of wood from New Zealand and it plays very similar to the wizard III necks on the RG guitars. It does play very fast. It also does not buzz anywhere on the entire neck. The pick ups seem to be very generic, not the Ibanez infinity pick ups. Clean sounds very good, but on overdrive and or distortion it gets a bit muddy. I plan on replacing the bridge pick up anyway. All in all this is a fantastic guitar and I would highly recommend it for a beginner to intermediate. It seems to serve all purposes.
