So that took a bit of brute force and thought. It does the job, but it is not comfortable to wear as the cord is harsh on the back of your neck. Also if you have a generous bosom then the magnifier does not sit very well on your chest. I am using this for crochet and I've found that if you move the tops of your arms even slightly then the neck cord somehow flips the magnifier over onto its side, rendering it useless unless you put down your work and reset the magnifier position.
