Has power and speed. Very nice. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not good for a newbie *by J***N on Reviewed in the United States on 13 October 2024* I've never worked a lathe before, though I have a general idea how it works and I am a woodworking hobbyist (experience with tablesaws, routers, mitre saw, planers, etc.). There is no detailed documentation on how to use this as a lathe. Going from the pictures on here, I was able to get a nice piece of squared off walnut chucked in securely, well balanced, and spinning. Using the tools provided, I have attempted three times to just round out the piece. I have only been successful in completely mutilating the piece of walnut. I'm not sure if the tools need to be sharpened, if walnut to too hard to work, or if I'm using the tools incorrectly; either way, I haven't figured it out yet.
