I use it for my retro gaming consoles so I can both record on the PC and get the game display on the TV. Real easy and straight forward to setup. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars works well after some tweaking *by S***E on Reviewed in the United States on January 13, 2014* There was substantial buzz/interference when first using the unit. This was remedied by insulating some of the internal components. I now have zero audible (or visual on the video ports) noise. I am using dual shielded cable and filtered power, so the interference was not external, and did not exist prior to use of this device. All said, you can not beat it for the price. If you do not have access to tools/materials to insulate it, hot melt acrylic can do the job reasonably well for the average user. You would have to coat the rca and power section of the board well, avoid the capacitors. If you include the 15$ for the HM setup, this is still a bargain, 4 stars.Update: Been using for 30+ days now, no further issues, works well for what i use it for.
